He said he stayed in East Germany because he loved Renate. Wallace asked, "Why do you become the captive of the women with whom you have spent your time?" "Aren't we all captives of our women, Mike?" "The main motivation of your life is what?" Wallace asked. "Love," answered Dean. "We've heard your cowboy songs. We've heard various songs. Would you sing 'My Yiddishe Momma'?" "That is one of my favorite songs, Mike. I've sung it, for my mother, in every country of the world. My mother is not Jewish, but I think this song is one of the most beautiful songs of all time for a mother," said Dean. "I understand you had some difficulties with that song in the Soviet Union." Dean nodded. On Dean's second tour in the Soviet Union, a little man who said he was from the Ministry of Culture told Dean it was forbidden to sing "Yiddishe Momma." Dean told him that Lenin would rollover in his grave if he had heard him say that because no Marxist could be anti-Semitic and, though he, Dean, did not agree with Zionism, he loved the Jewish people ...

|Lyrical Ballads & Other Poems|
This volume contains all of Lyrical Ballads (1798) with Wordsworth' s Preface of 1800/1802, and a wide ranging selection of both poets other work across their poetic careers, including virtually all their best known and most discussed shorter poems. Those volumes and Wordsworth' s and Coleridge' s other major poems were central to the Romantic period and remain classic texts in our own time. Lyrical Ballads (1798 and 1800) constituted a quiet poetic revolution, both in its attitude to its subject-matter and its anti-conventional language. Wordsworth focuses on the essential passions of the heart and achieves a penetrating insight into love and death, solitude and community. Both poets look with a fresh and visionary eye at the human and natural world. Coleridge explores a more fantastic and dreamlike imagination, and also writes poems of quiet, conversational mediation. They examine the condition of men and women at the extreme edge of society: they are also subtle analysts of their own minds and the processes of introspection and memory.

The songs have been divided in two discs: the first one, dubbed "The Dark Side," features heavy, metal-influenced songs, while the second one, entitled "The Light Side," spotlights the band' s melodic side. The set spans the years from 1991 to 2005, therefore it doesn' t include any songs from Dream Theater' s debut album, When Dream and Day Unite, from their 2007 release, Systematic Chaos, or their 2009 release, Black Clouds and Silver Linings (which didn' t exist yet at the time of the compilation' s release). Several single edits of popular Dream Theater songs are also featured on this compilation. The title alludes to their only Top-10 radio hit, "Pull Me Under. " It features three songs from their breakthrough album Images and Words remixed by Kevin Shirley: "Pull Me Under," "Take the Time," and "Another Day. " It also features the song "To Live Forever," an Awake-era re-recording of the song from the Images and Words sessions (featured as a B-side of the "Lie" single), which was previously unreleased on a full length album. GreateSt HIT (. . . and 21 Other Pretty Cool Songs) is a compilation album by progressive metal band Dream Theater released by Rhino Records on April 1, 2008.
